I believe HS+3 hp. Velmont - can you please confirm.

KD - Let's try this for this battle and maybe at the end of the fight we can discuss? I appreciate everyone's flexibility as I try some things to further improve the flow of PbP combat. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. You bring up a great point about stunned though, so definitely I'll consider something different.

No worries.

I like playing by the rules, but to me, one rule is:

Once the DM has listened to the players and made his decision, we move on using that decision.

It's all good. ;)

Btw, I do think that the first combat with no initiatives did flow faster. I like that rule for PBP merely due to the fact that one round real time is limited to the slowest player, not the sum of each delayed player.

[sblock=OOC] I forget, is using acrobatics to escape a move action or a standard action? I don't have my books here, anyone have an idea? [/sblock]

[SBLOCK=OOC]Escaping a grab asks an Athletic vs Fortitude or an Acrobatic vs Reflex roll. Either roll is a move action and if you are sucessfull, you can shift one square (as a free action), that being part of the action.[/SBLOCK]

Seeing Lan in the grasp of the tentacles, Valahad knows he must make short work of Scar. "Call your creature off Khyber spawn!" Valahad trusts in his faith to do the dirty work and thrusts his blade past Scar's parry, his blade a beacon of light. Valahad sensing weakness raises his blade, his faith causing his entire body to glow with radiant light. The light blinds Scar and his blade strikes deep. When the paladin pulls the blade free, acidic slime comes off the weapon, burning Scar.

[sblock=Actions]
Minor: Make Scar Oath of Enmity target.
Minor(from move): Ardent Vow
Standard: Virtuous Strike vs Scar: Virtuous strike vs Scar AC (1d20+12=21, 1d20+12=18, 1d8+16=24) So a 21 to hit for 24 damage. If that hits I gain +2 to saves and Scar gains radiant vulnurablity 3 until the end of my next turn.
Action Point: Majestic Halo against Scar: Majestic Halo vs Scar AC (1d20+12=31, 1d20+12=28, 3d8+7=19) Hits AC 31 for 19 radiant. If the previous attack hits add 3 more damage for the radiant vulnurablity. Furthermore, each enemy that starts it's turn next to me is subject to my divine santion until the end of it's turn.
Free: On the hit use daily power of Acidic longsword to give Scar ongoing 5 acid damage.

Opening his eyes, Lanharath twists and turns in the tentacles grasp and manages to worm his way out from them, taking a quick step backwards from the gnashing maw of the creature.

"Thank you, River. We thought we were done for!"

[sblock=OOC]
- Move action: Acrobatics 19 (see dice room) vs the tentacles reflex score to escape. If I succeed, have Lan perform the actions I accidentally rushed into before the creatures had their turn, but instead of shifting as a move action, the shift will be part of this escape.

You're still prone as an FYI. Your move broke the grapple, but you're still prone from being ko'd
[/sblock]

[sblock=Re:Lan] Oh, forgot about that part... I guess I thought that I wasn't prone if I was grabbed for some odd reason. Ah well, silly me. I guess I'll just have Lan use his Standard as a move action to stand up before he escapes... [/sblock]
