Most of Marisa's spells have durations of minutes, so she would only cast them before breaching Hugo's place, not entering the tunnels. (Though it looks like she should have cast them now *gulp*)

BTW, when exploring, I want to assume to always have my rapier ready, and draw my dagger when needed.
