Just to cap off this thread, I'd be very interested in seeing what you think of Secrets of the Lion once you nab a copy. It's the first in a new series, and I'm eager to see how the format is received.

I've just begun reading in it; first impression: Solid work, comparable to the "Way of ..." books, very much usable für using the Lion as a DM-tool. It's the only major clan no player in our group belongs to, but that doesn't mean that we can't use the book as a DM-ressource.

I don't have any Lions in my group either (or Crane, Unicorn or Mantis for that matter).

Grrr - sorry for the awkward English in my previous post!

Don't worry about it. That post was much less awkward than that horrid web-speak that some of my fellow native english speakers like to use.

OK, finally got it and it looks very good overall.

One thing I was wondering, with so many feats, PrCs and techniques scattered within these books, have you guys considered a book to pull everything together? Maybe even a D20 conversion book to open these up to out of Rokugan gaming? Might make a nice pdf.

Also, any word on which books might be available before christmas and do you have a cover shot I can cut & paste to my christmas list?

I have found I have a better chance of getting the right book if I show them the cover.
