Its not actually all that uncommon in urban fantasy. Though of course in some cases you don't see it as much because not every place has as easy an access to firearms as the U.S.

Watched the final two episodes last night, and overall I was pleased with them. Enjoyed that the "Witches Road" turned out to be Agatha All Along.

One thing that I had to wonder is just how many witches are there in the MCU? It seems like they are everywhere. Strange how that has never come up before. (I know it's far from MCU's only world building inconstancy).

The HULU series Runaways was part of the MCU and featured a number of Witches including main protagonist Nico Minoru, her mother Tina and the villain Morgana Le Fay and her coven.

An alternate version of Tina Minoru studied for a time at the Kamar-Taj and is acquainted with Wong and Dr Strange.

Thors mother also says she was raised by Witches.

So the answer is there are a lot of Witches in the MCU, they've made some minor appearances AND at least some of them might be called Wizards or Scorcerers

So, some really cool reveals in those last two episodes.
I love that the Witches Road and the song were part of Agatha's scam, and I love that Billy unwittingly created the road. I think there’ll be a lot more to pick up on rewatch with those things in mind.

I’d be happy to see any of these characters again, but especially Death, Billy and Agatha. Maybe the new season of What if…?

Except that in Wanda's case she was at least somewhat aware of what she was doing from the start or close to it, while Billy didn't know about it until it was all over.

Those conflicts happened basically offscreen, so we don't know exactly what went down. She could have opened up with regular offensive magic, then drained them when they counterattacked.
The way that I took it was that Agatha was (in her way) honouring Nick's wishes by not killing the other witches after his death. They were, in effect, killing themselves by attacking her.

But, when we do see the conflicts (and we see them several times in the montage) it is always Agatha goading the coven into attacking first.

Unless it is a mystery, storytellers should not rely upon the audience surmising things that happen offscreen are different from what is shown onscreen. If the production wanted us to realize that Agatha's behavior was notably different, they would show us, not expect us to "figure it out".

Ergo - while choosing to interpret that she is different at one time is valid, that reading is not the production's intention.

Might I suggest:
Test with a pop up blocker. If that fixes it then you know it’s the ads.

I don't see it as different behaviour, I just see it as her not having developed a good schtick at this point, so she needs to use more physical provocations.
