Star Wars Ahsoka - SPOILERS

I was watching the latest Nerdist video and considering how Palpatine tried to access the World Between Words before, dark Sith magic, I wonder whether Ahsoka ended up here at this moment is at least partially connected to her being burned my the Nightsister magic working on the map.

Hopefully we'll find out how she ended up there (death or magic or something else) in the next episode!

I'm also hopeful that we'll see Ezra and Thrawn in the next episode as well. I don't want either of them to be a final moment reveal (a la Luke in The Force Awakens).

Maybe "the World Between the Worlds" is actually between life and the afterlife. Anyone can get there - they just have to die first. The gate on Lothal was a way to get there without the inconvenience of dying. Time travel is just a secondary effect of the world existing outside of time.

It's also possible that the World Between Worlds is related to hyperspace, and the map was accessing it to provide the calculations.

My understanding of the WBW is limited, but it seems that it can connect different times and places so, either it is related to hyper-space or it could potentially be used in its place for traveling.

Nor was I trying to. It's a little pointless trying to do that until we know which Anakin we're dealing with - present-day Force ghost Anakin, or actual alive Anakin from sometime in the past.

One theory I've been kicking around for a long time is eventually a force ghost will figure out how to manifest in physical form at least for a short duration.

See what direction they go with it as there was similar thing happening right at the end of the old EU.

Interesting. I’ve been hoping that Filoni would resolve the questions posed about Ahsoka in the Mortis arc from Clone Wars.

I'm also half expecting him to use the opportunity to show her the future and add her voice to the chorus in "Rise of Skywalker". That way, there's no need for her to be dead by that point, and he can bring her back for future projects as desired.

His grey complexion made him look pretty dead to me.

And if she dies? At least she has bought time for the New Republic to deal with the problem. Still a win.

Trust on the New Republic to deal with the problem? The New Republic that wouldn't even lift a finger to help them with this?
And on the flip side, If she could really trust the New Republic to deal with anything, she could also trust them to deal with Thrawn's return.

So either she trusts the Republic and can just go along and get a shot at rescuing Ezra, or she doesn't and then this is still the last chance for rescuing Ezra.
