Has anyone seen or heard anything about maybe getting both episodes 7 and 8 next week? I wonder because Loki season 2 starts with two episodes on Oct 5 at 9pm,

Wouldn't Oct 4th be the air date for Ahsoka episode 8? 5th is Thursday.

Ahsoka episode 8 should air 9:00pm Eastern Time on Tuesday October 3.

So several contenders going around for what's calling to Baylan.

1. Abeloth or entity based on her. The mother from the CW mortis gods ported from the old EU.

2. Bendu or another member of that species.

3. Something new.

4. Darth Jar Jar.

Leaning towards 4.

Shin may be whose daughter? Baylan's? It's possible, although she behaves more like a pet than a child. (She sometimes looks at him like she's expecting him to say, "Who's been a good dog then?")

I also read some speculation online that she could be a clone of Luke Skywalker (as a canon replacement for Luuke, with Baylan taking C'baoth's place). I have my doubts.

I would rate both of these as slightly less likely than Darth Jar Jar.

Abeloth is the leading theory I don't think it's her but if it's some sort of female force entity with godlike powers lmk.

It'd be nice if whatever Baylan's looking for turns out to be in a different star system. It's a bit of a let-down that we've gone to a whole new galaxy, and seemingly all we're going to see of it is one planet.

Unless they greenlight a second season due to popularity. Then it keeps being "Just one more thing."

I don't think there will be a second season. I believe Dave Filoni plans to wrap things up in the Mandoverse movie.

Quoting myself here. I am beginning to think there might be a season 2, as they have so many threads here to wrap up. I can't see them doing it (satisfactorily, at least) in a single movie. And I also think that the movie will need a semi-accessible starting point for any audience member who has not seen Ahsoka.
