Ahsoka - SPOILERS

I just watched the one where Sabine finds Ezra and refuses to tell him anything.... Are we watching the same show? She's one of the dumbest SW characters ever, and that's saying something.
If your best friend and potential romantic partner sacrificed himself in order to remove a grave threat, would you be so quick to tell him that you had found him by undoing his sacrifice? I don’t think so …

You'd think he would have sensed a good part of that, though.

If my wife sacrificed herself to save the Galaxy, I wouldn't help the space Nazis she fought. No chance. I'd fight them,. You'd help them to save one person? That's very selfish and the opposite of what your partner did. Also, the truth will come out, and she has no plan at all to get back.... If I was stupid enough to go there, I'd have a plan and would tell my wife everything was fast as possible to execute a plan. Secrets always make things worse in battle.

She also screamed about not seeing Ezra while they were still in flight. She's ridiculous.

He might have and is just waiting for her to be honest with him. They did talk about how it was ‘complicated’.

She’s also a broken person. She lost her family during the Night of a Thousand Tears and is no doubt suffering some major survivor’s guilt.

She also seems to be harboring resentment towards Ahsoka for not letting her go to Mandalore (and die, even though she seemed to think her presence would have made all the difference).

She’s been living alone for who knows how long.

She also made the decision to go along with the bad guys after witnessing Ahsoka fall off a cliff. That would have been hugely emotionally compromising for her. And it’s entirely possible Baylan manipulated her through the Force as well. It’s always been hard to show that on screen.

The sum of it is: Sabine is not in her right mind. Huyang and Ahsoka even had a conversation about it.

She is, however, a very smart person. She invented a device that could destroy beskar en masse after all.

But sometimes smart people make poor decisions. Especially when there’s a whole jumble of conflicting emotions involved.

Maybe, but if he did I'd have expected the actor to look like he sensed something rather than just be completely unaffected. I guess we will see. :)
Maybe he’s let the whole “sense emotions through the Force” part of his abilities atrophy. He didn’t give any indication that he’d sensed her coming. And maybe he was just too overcome with joy at seeing her again after 10 years.

Or maybe it was just poor writing … 🤷

That sort of techy brilliance isn't a lot of help in that sort of situation. And one has to suspect she is a "did their best work before they were twenty" kind of scientist. It's not uncommon.
Fair. I was just pointing out that she’s not a stupid person.

To be honest, you could also make the argument that the Duchess was a poor decision on Sabine’s part as well. So maybe there’s precedent for her choosing unwisely.

According to Mandalorian tradition, she should have kept the Darksabre and ruled Mandalore. And if prophesy is to be trusted, she would have won.

Wisdom is my dump stat.
