Albany, NY Gameday!(Aftermath)

Sure it does. There is the Gray side, the scary side, the rural side, the snooty side and the student getto in the middle. Crossgates is on the snooty side.

I'd be interested in this. Not sure what games I would want to play since it's been a while since I've played any D20. It'd be nice to just hang out with some local gamers. :) Well vaguely local.

We are currently in final negoatiations with our landlord to expand the ZOmbie Planet store and get the second floor of the building we are in.

We are looking at making the upstairs a "gaming cafe" with gaming tables, internet access, coffe lounge, etc.

Hopefully more news on this by the end of January.

Thats great to hear! I was worried about having too many people or bumping with another event during game.

I found out today we may turn this into an all day event depending on how we organize it. So please keep us up-to-date George. It sounds like that would be just want we need.

Depending on the time and location, the wife and I could go ... we're only 2 hours north of Albany ... I may even be inclined to run a game or two depending on how many people were there, how much it was, etc :)

I am interested in this event as well. I am a former upstater who lives on Long Island now. I still have family up that way though and could parlay the games day into a family visit as well. I am currently going through some changes in my work schedule, so I am not sure what my availability is but I haven't seen any dates yet, so I am not exactly worried about that. Also, I am an MIB for Steve Jackson games and if I am able to attend I should be able to run lots of SJ Games stuff and get some decent prize support. Looking forward to it!

Heh. I mentioned to guedo yesterday that we may have a fourth GM and his responce was, "Aah! We've got more GMs then players!" :)

Seriously, though, right now we're looking at 3, maybe 4 games. The possible fourth game is entitled Slaughterhouse. "You will die in this. The question is, how many times?" It is a 3.5 D&D game that we're supposedly playtesting this new years day.

We certainly welcome other GMs and we especially welcome prizes :). Guedo worries about having enough players to fill all the games. My responce to that is, "If you build it, they will come."

But yes. welcome, welcome, welcome.
