I think what they did with Craig's Bond was pretty fresh and at least in my opinion makes his Bond superior to what came before.

That's kinda the issue, though. How do you do a fresh new take on a fresh new take?

When I watched Fallout, I remember thinking, "Wow, I think they just optimized the potential of an action movie." It was really quite good - as were the few before, but Fallout took it to another level.

As for the Amazon news, my wishful thinking is maybe this means Bezos will give up on ransacking Middle-earth and try again with a new "sacred" franchise. Of course if I hear Bond utter, "I have a tempest in me," I'm out.

Third season of Rings of Power was announced just the other day. Loved the first two, glad to see it continue.
