An Embarrasment of Riches in Gaming Soon. Your Most Wanted?

lets see

Fable
demon stone
burnout 3
GTA san andreas(unless I continue to be disapointed in the previews, don't like 90's gansta flicks, think the eating/exercise thing is lame if I want the sims I'll play the sims, ditto to the dress and tatoos. If this were an rpg fine I'd even like it like in fable but in GTA ug, and the swiming you know I liked that the guy had a serious alergic reaction to water, not only is that like a 15 point flaw but it added some cool obstacles to the game, now who cares where I crash.)
Halo 2
Jade mepire
KOTOR 2
Maybe metroid prime 2
and maybe splinter cell I dug the 1st, never got aorund to getting pandora tomorrow, my only complaint is he is one sucky unarmed combatant for a top NSA agent.(yeah yeah stealth game) overall the game rocked though.

And I'm sure there is more but I already hit my point where I don't want to see other things and get tempted over them as well.

Winning Eleven is easily the best soccer/football franchise out there, but it's been a PS exclusive until the lastest iteration (and I've only got an Xbox). Eleven is for the eleven members on a side.

Thanks, I was never sure what exactly they were referring to.

This is one of the things that's turning me off of MGS3, I was glad when rpg's drop this annoying aspect, even Shenmue didn't make you stop to eat.

Whoever thought forcing you to eat in a video game would be fun needs to be slapped.

Between now and Christmas? My list:

Phantom Brave
Star Ocean 3
Silent Hill 4
Fable
Growlanser Generations
MGS 3
Halo 2
Gran Turismo 4
Metroid Prime 2
Splinter Cell 3
GTA: SA
KOTOR 2

I do agree with the others, though - that whole "eating" concept is pretty silly.

Me too. They had darned well better have put a cheat in to disable it, or not have it seem like a chore. But then again, I consider eating in real life a chore, so I'm biased. I don't know, I think if anyone can make a thing like that bearable, it's Rockstar. It may even be a parody. Wouldn't surprise me in the least, with that group.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude.

While it may not be everyone's cup of tea, I am looking forward to it, if for no other reason, that it is about time that we see games branching out into *all* the genres of media that are popular in this country. Don't get me wrong, I love sci-fi and fantasy games, but hitting the mainstream by emulating mainstream genres is the sure fire way to finally put video games over the top and actually beat Hollywood. I mean, look at the runaway success of the newer NFL games -- if that ain't mainstream, nothing is.

I think that's quite obviously the reason why no one has mentioned it.
