Well, Wednesday is a better TV night in general (weekday, mid-week). Going against The West Wing is bad, but not fatal. It's moving from going against Alias (a same-genre show) and the Law & Order spinoff. And being on Sundays night meant is was going against Saturday night football. I think it's a wash. Plus, it replaces Birds of Prey which was unwatchable.
I do agree that moving a show is never a good thing and usually means they are trying to juice its ratings. However, if Angel does so badly that it is cancelled, UPN is sure to pick it up at least for one season.
I don't watch The West Wing, so it's not really a huge issue for me (I'll be buying the DVD's). But I know that many folks do watch it so it will be interesting to see how Angel holds up compared to Sundays.
Going to have to hunt for it, my WB station is also my UPN station and they are off when they show the shows. I hope this means Angel will be on before Smackdown on Thursdays as Wednesdays are Smallville and Enterprise!

Ouch, that is rough, man. They have Smallville on Wednesdays where you are? That's weird. I hope it all works out schedule-wise where you are. It stinks to miss a show because it's not even aired in your region.
I think so. My UPN station is the same as the WB station, it carries both their shows. I think WB and UPN rent time from it as it seems to also be neither during the day and at other times.
