D&D General Another D&D cartoon reference, do they mean anything?

My source is TV tropes:

This cartoon has the distinction of being one of the few Hasbro-related cartoons not owned by Hasbro. Instead, the cartoon is the property of Disney, who acquired the cartoon along with the majority of Marvel Productions' cartoons when they bought Fox Kids in 2001. This is because Hasbro had no ownership of Dungeons and Dragons at the time of production (they were still with TSR, Inc. prior to that company's sale to Wizards of the Coast, a Hasbro subsidiary). This may explain why Hasbro hasn't acknowledged the cartoon much compared to other Hasbro-based cartoons.

---

I guess they want a intergenerational franchise, for younger and older audience. But then they would need the same characters, or a rebooted version. My suggestion is to allow a opened door for potential spin-off because little children love to create their fanart characters.

Could Hasbro to buy the copyright of the song of the Spanish intro?

Anyone have the cartoon book WotC put out? Check the copyright notice at the front of the book. Chances are Disney owns the cartoon itself and distribution thereof, but WotC owns the characters and their likenesses along with the scripts and stories. For example, Dungeon Master and Tiamat are clearly WotC IP.

ETA: Friend of mine has it and confirmed. No mention of Fox or Dinsey in the book. And the book is based on an episode of the cartoon.

It’s interesting that a character is pole vaulting over a dragon breath attack on the box art and in the $1400 statue. Did that happen a lot in the show?
yes. The show was in the 80s and so it wasn't terribly violent in the sense of characters hitting each other with weapons ("illimitatable acts" were not allowed - it's why the Ninja Turtles didn't ever cut anyone with a sword). Diana's signature move was to flip around the bad guy while being shot at and using her pole - which was her magic item - to enhance those flips.

Yeah, but as with "Spelljammer Confirmed" they have plausible deniability still, if that is what they are building towards.

It is worth noting that fir the big Adventure books, they do have a history of promoting the lore of portions related to the Adventure well before they announce the book: they did that with Witchlight, Iceland Dale, Averrnus/Baldur's Gate, Waterdeep/Undermountain, Cult/Ackerqck, etc....

This article references a Revamped starter set and releases in the second half of the year for Portuguese at least. Are international releases coordinated these days or is there a localization delay?

A rare single line on dragon talk isn't the same as a dozen tweets a week
