Yeah, looks like Michel was one of the Critical Role fan artists who started working with WotC after Wildemount, with material in Tasha's, Rime of the Frost Maiden, and Witchlight as well.

Speaks to the cultural cache of the cartoon, perhaps. And that official box art remains intriguing.

Also, all this Tweeting from D&D WotC and D&D Beyond about the cartoon...and I suspect that Perkins wouldn't have been able to use the Cartoon/LJN stuff he sis in Witchlight, unless that was in the cards for WotC to use somehow, somewhen...

That’s a good point. It does imply that the licensing for the cartoon is all thumbs up.

There is active merchandising going on, like the minis, the Spirit Halloween costumes, the t-shirts, etc.

So somebody knows who has the Bledel rights, and they are being used. I'm sure Hasbro and whoever have come to some sort of understanding...
