Appears at the bar smoking slightly. After a few moments dusting off and picking what looks like a piece of burnt skin off of his shoulder. This man strokes his grey tipped beard when he realises people are looking at him strangely.

Patting his pockets he looks up at the barkeep who's eyeing him expectantly.

"I say Siani, could you stretch my tab to a double whiskey? I could do with a drink!"

Kat listens and watches intently as Bianca examines the staff.

Wyrmish?! Draconic!? ... good I didn't do anything to activate those runes... sorry it isn't helping Palin more though.

She smiles ruefully at Palin.

"Well, at least it's a little more information? Guess you'll just have to experiment. Or let the lady research it further."

As Palin considers, Kat turns her attention to the others who've entered the tavern.

Another mage... in blue robes this time. And... ugh... the smoke... what an entrance... must be yet another! How very odd... I thought I was joking about a gathering...

She studies Palin suspiciously a moment, then eyes the one at the bar that thinks he can get a break from Siani. ((;)))

A Wizards Convention ?

On this busy night in the tavern, a wizard comes down the stairs in his traditional blue and white robe. He holds a mages staff in hand, and has several magical rings on, that go well with a wizard like look. He stops half way down the stairs, and rubs his short blond beard, with a puzzled look on his face.

“Well, what do we have here? From the looks of it, we must be having a wizards convention.”

He chuckles as he looks to his right shoulder, on there is a white owl that seems to be talking to him. He then reaches up, and pulls down his blue and white hood, that revels a small thin crown on his head, and long blond hair that is smartly done in a ponytail.

As the mage continues down to the bottom floor of the tavern, the white owl can be heard remarking to the wizard. “It seems Agudo, that we have all colors of the rainbow here today.”

The wizard smiles at everyone, as he walks by and lights his corncob pipe, with a wink of his eye and a flash of blue magic. He then begins to smoke it, those near by can smell the sweet herb fragrance. He then takes out the pipe from his mouth and looks around. “Yes Lady Hoot my wise white owl friend, and from the looks of it, us magic users our smoking everyone out."

He chuckels some more. "Lets see we have red wizard, white wizards and my particular favorite ice blue.” Being that I have an affinity to any shade of blue and white.

The white owl cant help but laugh at how magic users, who seem to have on the same clothes all the time; are secretively obsess about what they put on.

Orders another ale...........

There DO seem to be an unusual number of wizards about lately.......

I wonder if it's just a coincidence or....something more.....

Kheldar laughs. . . Maybe Armin wasn't so innocent. . . Well, he was a Dwarf after all.

"Well, Armin - I wish you luck in whatever ventures you may have here. However, I'm afraid I must be off. . . I spend too much money, and my supply is running short. So methinks I need to find myself a job."

Kheldar gets up.

"It was a pleasure meeting you! Here, buy whatever you can with this."

Kheldar flips a platinum piece towards Armin, it had been one of the ones Khaira returned to him. He then makes his way towards the door.

Palin nods while listening to Bianca.
"Yes, that is much the same as I came up with," he says, as he takes the staff back again. "I didn't know about the Auld Wyrmish, though. Perhaps this will help my own studies... I'm certain I must be able to find something about this."
The mage stares at the staff for a long moment, then he sighs softly. "Thank you for you help," he says with a smile at Bianca. "I'm certain it will prove useful."

He looks at Kat and smiles. "Yes, information is always useful," he replies, "and I'll surely be experimenting some more. Thanks again, to both of you."

Palin frowns a moment later when he sees the new wizards' arrivals. "What an amazing amount of mages around..." he mumbles to himself, then shakes his head. "I didn't know we were this popular," he adds, glancing at Kat who's eyeing him suspiciously.
He raises an eyebrow at this. "What? I didn't invite them here, certainly," he says slowly.

snaps his quill cutting his finger
mutters something under his breath about inferior materials.
Looks around and for what seems to be the first time notices all the wizards in the tavern thinking if its more than a coincidence.
Mutters some words in a very different voice than when he was speaking.
he summons another quill it seems to be made of ice tho in this heat it should melt but doesent also you notice his finger no longer bleads and the blood that driped on the paper is seeming soaked up by the parchement leaveing no trace it was ever there

He begins to scribe again as tho nothing had happend

Potions to be Bought or Traded for

The Archmage of Light sees an empty table, that’s almost clean. He walks up to it and reaches into his pocket, it takes a minute of fumbling in his deep pockets; but Agudo finally smiles, as he finds what he has been looking for.

“Ahh here it is, I knew I didn’t leave it on top of that sleeping dragon.”
He then places a small turquoise bag on top of the table, and reaches inside.
“Well now? I didn’t know I had made this potion.” Agudo takes out an emerald green bottle, in the shape of a unicorn, and eyes it. “This potion is for Luck”

“Now I remember I made this for that inventor…um…. What was her name?”
Lady Hoot who flew over to the chair next to the table, and now sits on its back; took a look at the unicorn like bottle, and laughed. “That was made for the infamous Gnome (Butter Fingers) she had a habit of big Ideas, and big explosions.”

The wizard chuckled, as he now remembered why he still had the potion.
“Yes that right, she was supposed to pick it up, when one of her machines shot off into the air; and with her with it at that! I wonder what ever happen to her?”

Agudo shrugs his shoulders, and takes out the rest of the bottles. They came in all different shapes and sizes; everything from Invisibility potions, Healing, Longer Life, to a few, that Agudo was still trying to figure out. With a snap of his fingers, a flash of magical blue light appeared above the table. It left a sign saying…….

{Potions to be bought or traded for.}

A couple of Dwarf Clerics walked up to brows, and even a recluse Elvin wizard in green robes, bought a few things by trading an old Elvin ward; with strange markings on it.

Agudo seemed pleased at this impromptu Wizards convention.

Kat studies Palin a bit more, then relents and smiles at him.

"It isn't that I thought you invited them... but I thought you might have some knowledge of why there are so many here. Since you're both a mage and a recent arrival yourself."

But did Palin talking about an invitation have anything to do with that one snapping his quill? ... oh stop it... you're being way too jumpy.

Then Kat watches the mage in blue and white setting up a display of bottles. She can read the sign from here.

"Palin, is this common? for a mage to offer his potions openly? In a public tavern?"

There are some there that would be very useful... but not without money or anything else to offer. Except... a dragon tooth?

hmm thinks to himself a wizard actualy wililng to part with some homebrewed concoctions
