She looks to him with a soft warm smile, "I feel a bit odd, but other than that the usual. Are you alright though, do you need healing from that? I can restore your energy if you wish..."

Give me a moment, he says, as the sickening crunch of his transformation is heard. He quickly pulls out, before full transformation, with a moan of pain.

Yeah, I need healing. I think the compounding of haveing my flute break on my last spell, and fighting such a powerful curse made my own powers a little weak. I think I might of just broken ribs.

he breathes, slowly.

Yeah, definietly ribs. Any help would be wonderful. He glances at Seth. But from a heavenly source would be best.

She smiles and motions him over to her side, "Please come closer so that I may heal you, mind you that it may hurt a bit."

The man grimaces as a healing light passes over him, his ribs painfully stiching themselves back together. He winces several times, but when all is said and done, he breathes easy.

Thank ya, My lady. Now, time for introductions. I'm Tarran, guardian werewolf of the down of Lunaeetumbrae, which we call Lu for short. And you are...?

He grins benignly, relaxing in his seat.

She extends her right hand to him, "I am Elona Marrowin, princess of the heir to the throne of Wakenia. Many have not heard of it and for those who haven't it is best to not mention it; as we fear for those who plan to take it over." She smiles again to him then looks toward the door and the others, finally resting her gaze to him.

Well, its very nice to me you Elona.

He looks into her eyes, as a voice comes to her mind. It is his, so that neither the others can here.

Wakenia, you say. I have heard of the nation. But it is far, far away, even across the planar border. I had not heard that some plotted to overthrow the throne. I think your guardian werewolf needs to be talked to. Do you have one? I do not know how far us Guardian Veran stretch. If there is, I might have to speak with him, failing in his duties to prevent anything from daring to overthow a prosperous nation. It is sad, with some in my world turning to vampiricy, which we have fought for generations, that others are simply slacking off.

He begins to speak normally, and aloud.

So, who are your companions. Anything I should know about them. I do apologize, gentlemen, for being so gruff about your evilness inheritance.

She looks quite surprised at his words, and speaks into his mind, "No, I do not have a wolf guardian, I have never heard of them. Your kind must not have travelled that far yet. There isn't a plan to overthrow the palace yet, its just that we take precautions so those who overhear our words as to where it is, can't find it."

He in turn is suprised, as he returns the thought speech

Well, we must remedy that. I could send for a guardian if the wizard over there would pull his nose out of the book, or I could do it. I don't have a charge right now, and my last one, the village of Lu, is under my pack daughter's care. I would be quite willing to help you and your kingdom. More you. All you, and your kingdom if you order me to. He glances upwards before he continues in a whisperd thought. Being a guardian means I'm a good werewolf, heightened in human form, and more powerful than a normal veran when I transform. The bad news is that I feel the compelling urge to help out whenever I can, and to guard anything that excepts me as a guardian. Do you accept, Elona?

He does look hopeful, but not pleading, leaving the choice up completely to the angel touched. He glances away for a moment, towards the Archmage, his nose still buried in his book, and then to their companions, total unaware of the reason behind the other two staring into one anothers' eyes. Tarran, however, thinks he hears the book whisper "They're flirting you fool."

She smiles speaking into his mind, "I am curious Tarran why you are interested in helping me. I haven't done much for you in order to receive such treatment and help. I don't ask much of anyone really..." Elona smiles again then continues to speak into his mind, "Is there something you wish from me m'lord?"

The werewolf turns his head only into one of a wolf, and sits as such for a few minutes, before coming out of it. He continues in mind speech

I did that to keep from blushing. It's amazing how wolves don't blush, saves them a mess of trouble. Anyway, I'm interested in helping you because a lich hates you, and one hell of one too, so that itself means you need someone always at hand. Secondly, I'm obliged. Yes, I did help lift a curse on you, but it wasn't anything that you couldn't have defeated with the right mindset. You healed a wound that my regeneration couldn't. Third, I'm curious to learn about your country, and this world, where so much is different. Fourth, I like you. You seem like a good person. I have nothing else to do. I don't like the way that Tiefling's eyeing you like a hunk of meat. Very pretty meat, but meat none the less. Or maybe thats just my impression. Not sure. Anyway, it's a just because answer. I want nothing from you, but I would like to give my guardian pledge to thee, and possibly gain your companionship in return.

Once again he glances around, thinking he see's someone waiting outside the door, shakes his head with a "It's nothing" expression, glancing around again, and listening to the book saying. "I think mortals are ridiculous with their emotions."
