What a great plan! I endorse this effort. To help with the expenses of my relentless support of the Anti-Hivemind Movement, please allow for this brief word from a sponsor...

Lexus - Unlimited Titles Volume 1

You'll find that this seemingly simple HTML/Javascript Utility Generator is more than meets the eye. Containing hundreds of nouns and adjectives, it has the ability to churn out millions of random but useful titles for books, songs and poems for your Medieval/Fantasy game. Aside from that, its HTML page appearance allows you to use the screen of you computer to present the titles as a stack of books, or print the stack and use as a handout in your game. With each click of the generator, one dozen titles appear which can be taken as is, or manipulated to better suit your tastes or campaign. Further still, many of the titles will spark your imagination toward new plots and scenarios.

But this is not all you get for this one time purchase. As a bonus, once you have the Lexus - Unlimited Titles Volume 1 generator, you will be able to download additional updates and future volumes as the data lists within will continue to grow on at least a quarterly basis. Grab yours now and never get stuck for a titles again!

Click on the image to go make you purchase at RPG Now!

Thank you for your support in the Anti-Hivemind Movement!

If it's anti-hivemind, does that mean it's increasing or decreasing the amount of drivel on the Internet?

Cause there's not nearly enough drivel on the Internet as it is.

I believe that you mean the Intraweb...? Don't feel badly. A lot of folks mix that up when their new to Cumputating Devices...

WHY I AM AGAINST HIVEMIND

I am against hivemind because it bumps other game-related threads off the front page of the General forum. If it were just one thread, it wouldn't be a huge deal. But usually it is two, and sometimes THREE hivemind threads on the front page of the General section. People start a new Hivemind at a time when others are still posting on prior Hiveminds. This is very annoying, and therefore I am now against Hivemind as being self-centered (or is that hive-centered?).

This is correct. While this is a community, it is an RPG community. Hivemind for some reason has moderator immunity whereas other grossly off topic or even slightly off topic threads do not.

There are other, more subjective reasons to hate Hivemind as well. :)

important new field of physics opens up!!!

High Energy Messageboard Thread Experiment!!!

Hmm experiment proposal!!!!

An administrator merges this thread with an hivemind thread. The threads anhililate releasing their rest mast energy in a shower of elementary threads that we will detect and analyze using the lastest in distributed computing technology.

This should lead to some exciting new data to support of refute the Standard Model (of EN World).

perhaps a thread should be setup in meta so theoreticians can discuss their expectations.

Would it be better if I log off before this happens? Cause if its anything like matter and anti-matter... Is there a minimum safe distance for this?

this is usually not the case. whenever there's been 3 Hive threads, it's been on accident and two of them are closed. whenever there are two active, it's because one has been closed, but sometimes people mistakenly still post (not knowing a new one has been started)

we try our best to keep it to one active thread at a time....

[edit - in other words, more than one active thread is an accident. and i'm sorry we seem self-centered, we've never shunned anyone from the Hive. if you want to join in, come over and post with us :) ]
