Any female game masters?

While there are clearly women who post, and a reasonable number of female gamers (albeit a minority overall), how many of you have seen women actually running games? Any Ms. DMs?

I have run D&D 3.5 in the past (two separate campaigns, though neither lasted long due to extenuating circumstances) and until very recently, was running an PBP campaign using a house-ruled version of the Amber RPG rules, in a homebrew Urban-Arcana-like campaign.

I also have played in at least two campaigns run by Isida Kep'Tukari on the PBP section of Enworld.

Female game master checking in.

My husband and I alternate running campaigns with our home group, although that's kind of fizzled out right now. I typically run pre-published stuff, albeit heavily modified at times, because I just don't have time to create my own adventures and worlds like I used to.

We've just started (as of last Saturday) running a game at our local gaming store for whoever wants to join in, with me as DM. Nine (9!!!) people signed up to play every week.

My Tuesday night DM is female. Our party consists of a half-fiend sorcerror, a drow assassin, an incubus, and a pixie fighter. The setting is an Eberron-like greyhawk where Sharn has replaced the city of Greyhawk and cities like Doraka are covered with thick alchemical smoke from factories.

Last night the party was in the capitol of Iuz, Doraka, to assasinate a cambion lord we'd pissed off earlier. One of our party was disguised as another lord of Doraka* and when our target left the party, we released an outsider hating monster which ripped him apart after our man on the inside hit him with dimentional anchor. From there we headed back to our targets house, posing as him to host the afterparty for a bunch of mind-flayers who had imprisoned us earlier. We locked them inside, set fire to the building, buffed, uncovered our tattoos that showed that we had been their prisoners at one time, and made sure nobody got out alive.

Next week we are trying to sell off all the "mindflayer yaoi" artwork we got off the patron we accidently got killed and otherwise getting back to Sharn.

*a drow that we had killed by mistake by removing his amulet against detection that was hiding him from Lolth as he had sold out to another demonlord.

Ya know... a few years back when I first began visiting ENWorld, I asked this question, and nearly got a new one ripped by some women gamers for being a troll. I've only known a couple female GM's. One ran an all woman game, and they scared hell outta me. Their PCs were vicious, bloodthirsty serial killers...every one of them.

Hmmm.... shouldn't a female Dungeon Master be named Dungeon Mistress???

My own experiences with female DM's is unfortunately extremely limited, namely zero.

Here in the Netherlands, I knew only one female gamer in a one-shot game I participated in visiting a friend, and she was a player, not a DM, and when I was in the States, all the gamers I met were men. Since my US experience was at a Tech college with a short supply of women in general, this was not that much of a surprise...

I kinda missed a missus in playing DnD, as in my experience, women often game with a somewhat different mindset / way of looking at things (as far as my own experience, mainly with women and boardgames goes), adding variety to the group, making the whole experience more diverse and IMHO more fun...
