I have a character that is has Kara-Tur heritage and has a frostband that he named in the language of his ancestors. He has labelled the sword "Cold Death". Can anyone translate this for me?
Ummm, there are a lot of things I could try for that. I suck at Japanese, but Samusa Shi could be a name.
Samusa is literally the absence of heat, while Shi is the noun for death. Shinu is the verb form.
Tsumetai means a cold person, meaning that they are unfriendly I guess you could say. Tsumetai is an adjective though, so that may not work.
An example would be Kareshi wa tsumetai desu.
Meaning, "He is a cold person." Okay, well that is not exactly right, because literally it would translate as "He is cold."
AHHHHHH, maybe I should just shut up now.

There is also Samui, which means cold weather.
Ummm, I hope I was of some use. :\
