If you have, have you received it or a message about it yet? Anyone know when Amazon will get it? I pre-ordered in February, so I guess I can wait a few more days, but I see that a number of people have it already.

Yep, I ordered it from them as well. I've got the playtest document, and none of the characters in the current campaign we're running are anywhere near 20th, so I'm good for now. For my opinion of amazon.com, I refer you to:

I did (or better, my sister did), but I haven't heard anything yet. But then again, Europe is traditionally behind with it's releases. Hurry up, Amazon, I want this book now!

Yes, I did. My order's cancelled now - they were taking too long. I'll see if it shows up in my area, and failing that I'll buy it from the EN World shop.

It's for sale in the local WotC retail shop yesterday, but the discount at amazon is pretty nifty. I don't have it yet, but I'll probably try to order it through amazon. I'm not in a huge hurry for it, though, so maybe I can "last" better than y'all...

Thanks for the replies. I was just wanting to make sure that nobody else who'd ordered from Amazon had heard about/gotten it yet.
I have ordered from Amazon quite a bit, and for the most part I haven't had any problems. The few times I have had problems, it's been frustrating enough to make me reconsider using them.

Amazon works great as long as you remember one important rule, if the product that you want just came out, it is going to take them about an extra week to get it to you, and it dosn't seem to matter how early or even if you preorder it. If it has been out for a while 1 month pluss you can generally get it within the time they say.

How common is it for most of you to have local game/hobby/comic stores that offer discounts on products? Here in Michigan I'm near two places that offer around 20-25% off most gaming products, but when I was living in LA the only place nearby sold stuff for cover price.

Meepo, where in Michigan do you shop? I don't know of any stores that offer anywhere near that kind of discount on new books.
