I'm counting the days til the release. I've had this idea for a modern fantasy setting for the last year and a half that I'm totally pumped to run.

I'll probably run it online though because the D&Ders I know locally seem to have zero interest in anything not D&D.

And from what I've seen of the rules, I may change over to using them for medieval fantasy as well.

I'm gonna be using it, that's fer sure.

First off, for a Stargate SG1 setting... Get people to make up character then I'll keep 'em in my "DM Briefcase o' stuff" and pull them out when we need a one-shot.

Second, for a game that I've loosely modeled around the Savannah Knights story hour. Got some custom changes, but a lot of the basic concepts have stayed the same.

Spycraft + CoC d20 = too much fun

Seriously.

I don't think there is such a thing as "too much fun"... Unless you want to tell that story about that guy who had a heart attack, the Swedish Bikini team and a room full of Jello... but some things are best left unsaid....:D

For what it's worth, if I was going to do Dark Matter d20, I'd use the d20 CoC rules.

Who better to trust than one of the guys with his name on the cover of the D*M book, eh? :D I was seriously thinking of that the last time I was looking at CoC in the store...looks like I'm going to have a purchase to make up at GamesPlus now... :D

Too much fun => d20 addition => EN World addition

This is, of course, your completely unbiased and detached opinion as the author of said rules. ;)

I am going to look it over, and I look forward to reviews from people who have played it- but the classes leave me feeling rather disinterested.

At this point, I don't plan on getting it.
