Anyone still playing NWN?

I'm still playing.. I want to get into module creation and DMing but time is short.. I also cannot commit to the MP games online with concistancy.. I still enjoy NWN though, and think the expansions will do a lot to help the die hards find further enjoyment in the game.

Has anyone played any of the 'official' modules created by Bioware?

The only 'official' modules are contest of champions and Witches Wake.. I loved Witches Wake.. it's short, but has some great story and rule implementations.

Witch's Wake does some big changes with the way you get XP. You do not get ANY XP for defeating things in combat. Its done is such a way so you get XP by how far you get into it, at intervials. I like the idea of alternate ways to get XP, but to not get any for fighting is too extreme the other way, IMO.

I've just started up again after a 6 month hiatus... there are some great modules out now that creators have had time to really learn how to use the toolset (and some of the bugs have been fixed from release).

I started Witch's Wake but haven't gotten too far into it.. it looks excellent though, I get a Planescape:Torment vibe from it which is a good thing :)

I would recommend these adaptations of the WOTC Adventure Path modules:

http://4.61.238.234:8080/nwn/ (you can also find them on NWVault)

They are excellent. Been playing them multiplayer with friends and they really feel like you're playing the real thing. He's working on Speaker in Dreams currently.

Also played the Lone Wolf modules which were great. I'm really having fun playing NWN again, especially since we have a dedicated server with a good net connection set up. And I'm enjoying playing single player too...

I was enjoying it until my video card ****ed itself up. The cursor is all funny, and its too annoying to play now.

NWN rejected mine out right and I still haven't been able to play it.
