Anything odd happen to you on Halloween?

Anything cute, funny, weird, odd, creepy or spooky happen to you last night? It was an uneventful night for me.

Other than seeing zero children trick-or-treating at all in our neighborhood, no.
I suspect that they were all wrangled and beamed into space or devoured by demons, or both.

We had only a few last night (11 I think). We had fewer than that last year.

Beamed into space or devoured by demons. Those would have been an interesting Halloween story.

On Halloween no, but this morning while I waited with my son for his school bus a young man in his twenties came by wearing nothing but a pair of briefs and carrying the gauze remnants of a mummy costume along with a mask.

The poor guy was shivering like crazy as it was only 12 above zero (F).

That does fit in the weird category and maybe even the creepy. Sounds like he had a wild night.

We maybe had 15 to 20.

That number has been pretty typical for us...but, last year, when we were out of town for Halloween, and our friend was house-sitting/pet-sitting for us, he was innundated with trick-or-treaters, and actually ran out of candy. So, figuring that we'd had an upsurge in neighborhood kids, we laid in the supplies this year (8 bags of candy), ready for the rush...

I still have 7 bags of candy. As I'm really not supposed to be eating any, I need to make my wife take them off to school or something.
