Just finished viewing The Powerpuff Girls Movie. I didn't like it much, as compared to the TV series. Not as fun or as wild as the cartoon series, and the big fights get tiring after a while. Very much aimed at kids, unlike Toy Story or Ice Age, which appealed to adults as well.
Slowly going through the 3rd season of Buffy and First season of Angel. Went and saw Hunted in the theater last week, not too bad it's a decent enough couple of hours just not anything special.
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 2. Things start to get gooood this season...
Slowly working through Buffy Season 1. I saw some of the first season of Angel, but I'm one of the five people on the planet who never really saw much Buffy - now that it's going off I'm sorry I didn't catch it when it was first aired.
X-Files Season 6, Stargate S-1 Season 1 and just got back from seeing the movie, Basic (which I thoroughly enjoyed). Can't wait until Bulletproof Monk comes out!
I'll second that, but then I tend to view Hayao Miyazaki as an animation god. I would also recommend any movie by him, but the following are some of my favourites (not any particular order):
Laputa: Castle in the Sky
Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro
My Neighbor Totoro
Porco Rosso
Princess Mononoke
As for non-anime stuff. I've been enjoying some of the classic old serials - Phantom Empire (starring Gene Autry), Flash Gordon (starring Buster Crabbe), and the also classic Max Fleischer's Superman animated shorts.
