Arcane Season 2 Starts on Saturday, 9 Nov 24 on Netflix

I loved Arcane. Everything about it. There was some parts of season two that I felt went off-track a bit but, overall, they brought it back. I wouldn't call the ending unsatisfying. Sure, it was sad but I still loved it.

I'm not sure how I'd feel about a "spin-off". Why can't a successful show just stand alone?

Just finished watching season 2 last night. I have to be honest and say that season 1 was better. It felt cohesive and with a set story. Season 2 just went weird and trippy with seemingly no real connection to the season 1. The character connections were really good right up to the end and I even got a little teary a points. It just wasn't as good as the story we originally got.

When you set the bar high for yourself then even meeting that bar, later on, feels like less.

Finished up season 2, and I still loved the show but it got a bit rocky towards the middle. It felt like they just tried to take on too much.

The plotline of Vi/Jink/Caitlin and all of that was going well, we had some good character moments interesting plot. And it felt like the arcane stuff was crammed in at the last minute. Suddenly we have sorcerers and weird alternate realities and trippy time loops, and Viktor goes from an eccentric healer to the start of a war....a war which just came out of left field.

Really felt like it needed a 3rd season, finish up the main storyline they started at the beginning of the season with a hint of what's to come, and then the big war with Victor becomes the major focus of Season 3.

But 2 seasons is what we got. Ultimately I still greatly enjoyed the series, and still one of the most unique visuals we have seen in a long time. Definately one I will recommend to others.

Well, we're two episodes in (we're watching an episode a night, skipping Wednesday because it's D&D game session night) and at the point where we pretty much can recall who the characters are and what their relationships are to each other. So far so good, although I've noticed they have a lot more scenes with a more stylized art style than I recall in the first season.
