This is a poll. Given that the 4E NDA (apparently) indicates that you can not even mention that you are a playtester, I figured an anonymous poll might be interesting. I certainly don't think a poll would violate the intent of the NDA.

I'm curious how many folks here are playtesting 4E (or will be soon)

Looking pretty promising for ENWorld input to playtesting then.

Zero playtesters at this early stage, but I'm not surprised.

First, those who typically are chosen as playtesters tend to be very careful with their NDA. They probably even avoid answer a poll (especially if they aren't sure it can't be tracked by anyone). Admittedly, WotC sort of did an end run around the things that encourage this by randomly choosing D&D Insider members.

Second, the two groups chosen tend to be somewhat biased against ENWorld members. There does seem to be a lower percentage of RPGA members here for that group. Plus, the regulars here are much less likely to post on the WotC forums and thus be D&D Insider members (especially if post count was considered in the random determination).

Actually, I am surprised that nobody voted "yes" in this poll yet, even if he/she is not a playtester. It is, however, bound to happen sooner or later. I voted "no", of course.

But if we get an incredibly low number then we can complain that the ENWorld community is under-represented in the playtesting. Why make a spurious vote when it might mean you lose the validity of that? :)
