Are you a Grognard?

Well, I've had major climax battles to modules where there have been as many as 250 minitatures on a 4-by-8 foot battle table, so I guess I'll say yes in answer to the question.

I am the anti-Grognard. I've never used miniatures in any game I've run, and I actively dislike using them for various style and tone issues, and base assumptions, they put into a game. If I have any sort of retroactive nostalgia, it's for the portions of DnD that are probably as least influenced by wargames as possible, aka the mid to late 2e material that seriously went fluff heavy and seemed to distance itself from style of 1e.

And all in good humor here...

So yes, as the anti-Grognard, if I ever win the lottery and buy Hasbro, my coming shall herald a few decades of darkness for the wargaming influenced aspects of DnD! -insert thunder and lightning, maybe glowing eyes, perhaps some chanting in latin or slavonic-

;)

So, you will have wasted your lottery winnings and go out of business rather quickly...
