Arterial Strike and weapons of wounding

Does the feat , from S&S, Arterial Strike stack with a weapon of wounding?

Example; if my 8th lvl rogue has arterial strike and a dagger of wounding, will he upon a succesful sneak attack leave an opponent bleeding for 2 HP per round?

If so this could get very messy very fast.

Yes, I'd say that that you only bleed one hp per round per wound. Either a wound is bleeding, or it is not.

Especially since the effect is described in the same terms. Similar things tend to not stack.

They stack. One is magical, one is not. There is not reason for them not to stack, except that "it could get messy" or "uber powerful munchkining" or some other lame excuse. Please excuse my bitterness. Rough morning for me.

Because one thing is magical and another is not does not make them stack. A "magical" armor bonus (from Bracers of Armor) does not stack with ordinary armor bonus.

Hmm

I don't find the desc right now but as I remember it DOES stack. It's not overpowered since the sneak attack loses 1D6 points of damage. That means the fight has to go on for averaged 3.5round s till the Arterial strike is more powerful than a simple sneak attack. Sometimes waiting a few rounds just does not pay off.

That's different. We're not talking about armor. This has no bearing on the topic at hand. Trust me. They stack.

These don't stack because they both provide "armor" bonus. Nothing similar applies for the wounding/AS case.

Improved Critical and keen is a better analogy.

Ah-ha! I knew there was a really good example of stuff like wounding that stacks, but for the life of me, I couldn't remember! Thanks.

Actually Darklone, it is much worse than that.

My current character is 15th level. He has two attacks per round, plus quicker than the Eye, Expert Tactician and the ability to cast haste.

He could in all reality under against a flat-footed opponent land 5 snaeak attacks. If the target did not fall from the ddamage he would be (under a stacking situation) now bleeding 10 HP per round.
