Avoid this vendor!

Here's hoping everyone gets their screens. I bought one of the three-panel ones last year, and I love it. My FLGS has ordered a four-panel one for me as well.

I wish I'd had these 20 years ago.

Again, I do hope everyone gets settled and soon--this is a great product, and I'd hate to see it vanish for any reason.

Dragonscroll

I have had similar problems with Dragonscroll. I ordered from them, paid by check, which was cashed about two years ago... I still have received nothing. I have E-mailed them on numerous occassions (without response), and snail mailed them, as well. Still no response.

I don't reccommend folks spend their hard-earned money with Dragonscroll, either...

Hello,

I just wanted to say I ordered Dungeoneer from a link on the Citizen Games website that brought me to Warehouse 23. I then went the the checkout process at Warehouse 23, and recieved my shipment within about 4 days (which is excellent because I am in Canada). It was packed great also.

Just wanted to share this. :)

Dragonscroll

I had the same problem with Dragonscroll. I put in an order for some modules that never arrived. My credit card was charged, and several e-mails to them to inquire about the situation went unanswered.

I believe they went out of business, so my money is gone. Sure, I could go after them but as the total cost was about $25, and this was some time ago, I've decided to just take it as "lesson learned" and leave it at that.

On a side note, I work at a major publishing company and deal with mis-shipped product all the time. We're a major company (owned by that online service we all so love to hate), and we have a whole department dedicated to Customer Service. A lot of these small online operations have one or two guys running the whole thing, so some delay in communication is to be expected.

That doesn't excuse what some of these places do, it only tries to explain it.

The very fact that Citizen Games came on here to respond, and promise that the situation will be cleared up, should give us some reason to cut them some slack.

Doesn't mean the parties involved should not take their future business elsewhere, as bad service (no matter what the reason) should be responded to.

So, lesson learned on both sides. Hopefully those waiting for product will get it soon, and the companies will have to work extra hard to rebuild customer trust.

That's all I got.

Isn't this like the second time someone post a boycott vender message?

I don't mind being getting the heads up, but isn't this just an agenda to push your complaint forward by airing out in public so that the vendor have no choice but to save face immediately, and as a repercussion the complaints that were sent before yours is now put on hold to address yours?

I just hope I'm not one of those complainents who were "in the front of the line," so to speak.

jeez, here we are bashing a vendor and having a good time, and you have to come along and take THEIR side.

Spoilsport!:p

Don't take this the wrong way cause it is not intended to be rude.

The fact that you are chosing to wait longer than he is willing to wait is not his fault. When it comes to internet biz the best way to get a responce is via the internet. Going to the BBB is sure not going to accomplish anything in a timely manner.

Besides you could jump on the bandwagon by adding your name to the list of defrauded customers and hopefully get your product sooner.

Hmmmm . . . a poster decides to air his concerns about a company and other posters agree with him.

Then, 'Shawn' comes along, registers and posts a positive reply.

Could it be that perhaps . . . . we'll never see another post by 'Shawn' again?

*SMACK* Bad Gfunk! Don't be so cynical! ;)

Sounds fishy to me as well. More than fishy. I think the moderators need to look into "Shawn" and see if he is real.
