Baba Yaga d20 conversion?

How about Improved Metamagic, Improved Spell Capacity (x2), and Intensify Spell. I'm not sure that any epic spells really seem to fit her.

How about we round out her nonepic feats with a nice mix of metamagic feats?
 

Sounds all good to me (I'm not up on my epic stuff - it's all sitting on my shelf unread), so I appreciate this conversion.

At this point, we might simply consider some of the more 'blander' feats, such as:

- Combat Reflexes
- Multiattack
- Improved Critical (claw) [if this is possible]
- Power Attack

Just in case she has to mix it up in melee...
 


Oops...I horribly miscounted. She actually only has one feat left. I think I'm going to make Brew Potion a bonus feat instead, and go with Improved Critical (claw) and Power Attack.

Aura of Horror (Su): Baba Yaga can radiate a 15-foot-radius fear aura as a free action. A creature in the area must succeed on a DC 33 Will save or be affected as though by a fear spell (caster level Xth). A creature that successfully saves cannot be affected again by Baba Yaga's aura for 24 hours. The save DC is Charisma-based. (??? Creatures with 1 HD or less automatically fail their saves.)

Caster level 20th? Drop the auto-fail for 1HD or less?

Consume Spirits (Su): When Baba Yaga slays a humanoid (?) opponent, she can devour its life force, as a full-round action. This prevents any form of raising or resurrection that requires part of the corpse. There is a 50% chance that a wish, miracle, or true resurrection spell can restore a consumed victim to life. Check once for each destroyed creature. If the check fails, the creature cannot be brought back to life by mortal magic.

Limit this to humanoids?

Deadly Rending (Ex): If Baba Yaga hits with both claw attacks and her bite attack, she latches onto the opponent’s body and tears the flesh. This attack automatically deals an additional X points of damage. Additionally, the victim must succeed on a DC 34 Fortitude save or die. This is a death effect. The save DC is Strength-based.

Damage equal to 2 claws and bite plus 1-1/2 times Str modifier?

Regeneration (Ex): [Fire and acid?] deal normal damage to Baba Yaga. If Baba Yaga loses a limb or body part, the lost portion regrows in 3d6 minutes. She can reattach the severed member instantly by holding it to the stump.

Fire and acid deal normal, or something else?

"Sniff out Knowledge" (Ex): Baba Yaga can use her scent ability to learn greater information with her Knowledge skills (perhaps make add the results of a Search check via scent to her Knowledge check result).

This needs help.

Spell-Like Abilities: At will--comprehend languages, detect magic, discern lies (DC 22), read magic. Caster level Xth. The save DCs are Charisma-based.

Yes, all your suggestions are great. IIRC from the adventure, the Temperate and Cold Forests is definitely most appropriate.

For regeneration, fire and acid is good enough.

I'll try to grab my copy of the 'Dancing Hut' 2e adventure and check out how that 'sniff out knowledge' ability works (though I doubt I could put something that esoteric in "standard 3e" terms - certainly no better than you could!).
