If I had a daughter I'd want her to be able to come to this forum and not feel as if only "beautiful" women who displayed themselves for ogling were worthy of attention.

I don't know if this forum even is for small children, because the game isn't. Besides, any daughter would catch on to the fact that beautiful women get the most attention pretty much on their own. That's just how the world goes.

Just my two cents, since no one's said this yet--

The problem isn't the photo album, or the people who took the pictures with good intentions, or the people who ogle the photo album pictures, or the people at the cons, or the women who deliberately dress in such a way to induce ogling, or the people who hire the booth babes. The problem is taking it out of that context and applying it to all women, all the time. And you have to admit, western culture certainly does still objectify women.

When did we annex Japan, Korea and SouthEast Asia? [Places I have been too and seen women objectified as badly as here, and in some cases, worse]

I agree . . . but I am not personally knowledgeable of anything other than western culture, so I did not want to speak for that which I do not know.

Objectification? Someone kill me the day I don't notice a beautiful woman. I personally believe that men react to beautiful women from a genetic imperative rather than a trained response. Hell, I actually know I am reacting differently towards a beautiful woman, but I feel trapped in my own body like it isn't even a choice. I just can't help but treat them better they are so pretty. Its in our blood.
