Intelligent, witty, charming women get the most attention from men who are looking for a companion, a soulmate or a best friend. Intelligent, witty and charming women get the best jobs, the most friends and the most respect from their fellow humans (except for above mentioned men who just want something to ogle at). Case in point, Oprah Winfrey, not a physically beautiful lady but the highest paid daytime tv star for how long? People like her. And I can think of at least a dozen average looking women who have happy relationships with men who adore them. These men might glance at the chainmail bikini girls because they look different (Heck, I'd look at the chainmail bikini girls because they look different) but who don't long to be with them over their wives or girlfriends.
Daughters catch on to this pretty fast.

) what you say about witty, charming women I think is more true for men than for women. I know of many more cases of guys dating/being married to pretty but relatively stupid women than I do vice versa. Witty/charming women seem to frequently end up as the object of their affection’s best friend rather than girlfriend. Whereas ‘someone who makes me laugh’ is probably at the top of most women’s list of requirements. Stopping posting now before I get into too deep water, if I haven’t reached it already.
