Mr. 3000 (Words per post)
I wanted to start a new Photo Gallery, "Babies of GenCon," but feared it might be considered by some to be age-discriminatory and insensitive. I just thought it would be cool to have pictures of all the Babies that:
(a) Appeared at GenCon
(p) were photographed near GenCon
(r) were conceived during GenCon
(i) Were photographed with a camera bought at GenCon
(l) Are wearing something bought at GenCon
(f) Are named "GenCon" (a baby named "Jennifer Khan" might work if she goes by "Jen")
(o) Were born in the same city as GenCon was held (Lake Geneva until this year, I think)
(o) Have no real connection with GenCon, but that are such cute babies, you'll try to sneak them under my radar anyway.
(l) Were born in the middle of the main hall because Mom refused to miss GenCon, then didn't want to leave the marathon RPG session "just for some dumb baby."
(s) Babies dressed in middle ages outfits (read: lots of strips of cloth wrapping them up) that could conceivably have appeared at GenCon, but you know I have no way of independently verifying that they were actually there...
Anyone who wants to post their Babies of GenCon can do so to this thread - if I get enough of them, maybe I can start a gallery! What does everyone think of this idea?
Or is it too close-minded - am I objectifying the younger set that plays D&D by thinking of them as "cute?" Am I really that shallow for thinking "cute" when I see "babies?" Is this objectionable?
Either support my Babies of GenCon gallery by posting pictures or randomly lambast me for my politically incorrect position on the matter. Thanks all in advance for your replies and/or pictures.
