Back in Crolon

First Post
Land rises from the horizon two days out from Crolon. As the towers of the harbor entrance come into view a cheer is brought out by the crew. The Captain and Alistra both seem to visibly relax finally. The voyage back to Crolon was a somewhat tense and quiet trip. Alistra makes arrangements for her trunks to be transported to her manor and disembarks almost immediately after your arrival at the docks.

The crew and Captain Emid securely tie the ship up to the wharf. He offers for you to stay on the ship for as long as you would like. Or, if you would like, he will have the crew bring your belongings to whereever you would like.

Uli accompanies Alistra as she departs the ship. He bids you farewell and hopes to be able to see you again soon. He asks Elendil to meet him at his home tomorrow evening so that they can review their spell books.

Walf inquires

Walfilbalf steps off the creaking gangplank and sighs, grinning happily as he finally sets foot on firm land... or pier that is. He guffaws and shakes the Captain's hand, "Happy fer the offer, Cap'in, but I reckon ah'll want ta be spendin' some time in an inn on da ground fer a while. Still, I hope ah'll see ya 'gain fore yer settin' off fer farway lands."

Walking away from the ship, Walfilbalf comments to Ezieer, "Heh, Yer Alistra sure took off quick, din't she? Don' spose ye ever talked ta 'er 'bout that gold she was talkin' of 'fore we got 'er off da island?"

Walfilbalf suddenly looks a bit embarrassed, his cheeks turning a brighter red, "Well, I reckon she's got a lot on 'er mind. Can't o' been fun on 'at island fer 'er."

Elendil accepts Uli's request to show up tomorrow evening at his house, and then turns around looks at his companions and says "What do we do now? Know of any good inns to spend the night at. I know I could use a drink."

"No I doubt it was any fun. She probably wants to get herself collected. I wouldn't worry about our payment much... she's been very generous in the past. As for an tavern Elendil.. I know a few here. We shouldn't divide our spoils in the open... we should do that after we have gotten a room for privacy. However... getting a drink is another thing.. follow me."

Ezieer leads all who wishes to the nearest decent Tavern. Tells the rest to meet at the _____ Inn.

"Aye, sounds good ta me. I got some things I want ta be doin' while ah'm 'ere, so I wouldn't mind none gettin' 'at outta da way."

Walfilbalf again heaves up his enormous pack, and looks to Ezieer, "Lead on, 'en. Won't mind no fresh ale, but firs' ting's firs'."

"I hope ye pick a place I can play some tunes in, lad, 'cause that pirates' isle weren't no place fer makin' cash in the taverns, know what I mean? I be needin' somethin' to replace them potions I wasted back there.....an' it'd be good ta hear some applause from a crowd, no doubt, a'er that mis'rable job on th' isle...." Theodus mumbles out, hauling his junk into his backpack and plodding off down the plank to enter Crolon.

"Thankee fer the ride Cap'n, an' we appreciate ye holdin' yer own 'gainst them pirates when we was clearin' a path fer the civilians an' such. But just the same, I'd like me a nice fine bed an' fresh meals fer a bit, so's time fer this dwarf ta shake out 'is sea legs an' feel the good ol' earth 'neath me feet...." Theodus adds, louder this time as he descends the plank. He has to squat under the weight of his junk, but then, nobody's going to suspect an overburdened dwarf for anything but a porter or the like, so he figures his loot's safe with for now.

"Well Theodus... lets see if we can find a good spot for that. Lets ask around where a likely Tavern for playing and singing would be."

Ezieer (and presumably Azeem and Theodus) will canvas around for that information.

"Aw, c'mon. Ye can look fer a spot ta sing fer coins later. I wanna have a sit an' get this pack offa me shoulders. Let's jus' find us a nice inn where we can work on gettin' all this junk we foun' split up."

So are you all heading for the Whispering Willow or the Silver Lute? Or, some new inn/tavern?
