D&D 5E Ban Variant-Human! Impact?

What "compromise"? From WOTC:

If I’m a cleric/druid with the Disciple of Life feature, does the goodberry spell benefit from the feature? Yes. The Disciple of Life feature would make each berry restore 4 hit points, instead of 1, assuming you cast goodberry with a 1st-level spell slot.

Love it when you only quote half the story from the powers that be.

Ok... I mean, the biggest limiter of healing is action economy. Getting 4 HP per berry instead of 1 doesn't change that. How likely are you to sustain 1-3 damage in a hit such that it would keep you from going down again?

If you mean out of combat... :🤷:. Out of combat healing is easy to come by. You could easily assume full healing between every encounter without changing all that much about the game.

If you are using your action in combat to restore 1-4 hp to a creature your doing something wrong. (It's debatable whether you can feed unconscious characters a good berry). Which for me has always meant goodberry is an out of combat healing / survival spell

I'm offended that your offended and double X card you for harassing my sensibilities...

Dammit.

Life cleric dip with druid is best healer.

Not only good Berry but disciple of life with healing spirit.

We don't even bother rolling that spell. Everyone heals 35 go.
DoL that goes up to 75 iirc.

Actually too easy. Being a healer isn't that rewarding in this edition.

Same argument there as with good berry - when you summon a spirit or create an item that heals then disciple of life if a flop with it because the spell isn't the thing doing the healing. It's a pretty persuasive argument that knocks out all the imbalanced stuff u might thing of.

Ok, then what's the problem with giving each berry a +3?
