BBC - Dr Who - Glastonbury - Arrrgh!

Plane Sailing

Astral Admin - Mwahahaha!
I can't believe it!

I had to miss last weeks Dr Who (Utopia), but didn't worry because I know that it is always repeated on the following Friday night, so I can watch it before the next part, right?

No!

Bloody Glastonbury on both BBC3 AND BBC4.

Gah!

Not sure what Plane is talking about though ... a show on the town? :\

There is a huge and very famous music festival held at Glastonbury most years. It is being held this weekend and it gets a lot of coverage on the BBC channels, hence no repeat showing of Doctor Who.

Ah HA! Now I understand. Thanks Brakkart! :)

Wait, what is this "England" you speak of?

Plane, sounds like it's time for you to embrace the wonderful world of downloading AVI's.

Remember, it is public TV. You don't even have to watch extra commercials to asuage your guilt...

Well, it is publicly -funded- (and my annual TV license fee helps to pay for it!), but I'm not comfortable in obtaining copyright material through anything other than legitimate channels ( a foible of mine). I want the BBC to make lots of money from Dr Who so that they continue making it!

I know it will be repeated again at some point, but it is a shame to have to view it out of sequence.

Cheers
