D&D 5E Bending Problem With Top Heavy Nolzur's Goristro Miniature

Dausuul

Legend
After doing the corrective boiling water and bending technique, then I would get a pin drill and some metal pinning rods (most hobby shops sell them). I'd either pin straight up a leg – if the angle is possible – or else allow the pin rod to be partially exposed and drill in through the first "bendback" in the recurving leg. Sorry, I know there's a biological term for animals legs bending that way, but it escapes me at the moment.
I believe "digitigrade" is the word you're looking for. (Well, technically "unguligrade" since it has hooves, but the leg shape is similar.) The first bend in the leg is the knee, the second is the ankle. Everything below that second bend is in fact foot.

Another option would be to use epoxy putty wrapped around a pin/wire to make a supporting structure; maybe chains hanging from the goristro's body in such a way that they can function as pillars. More work to sculpt it, but you wouldn't end up with a visible external rod.
