Best non-eBay way to sell comic trades?

Hi,

I have a bunch of modern trade comic books I'm not going to read again. Is there a better way to sell them than eBay?

Thanks.

If you get cover price, you're doing well. I went through a couple years ago when I needed space and cash. When the comics did sell (about 50% of the time), I was lucky to get cover price. Only exceptions were Transformers, GIJoe, and some of the Spider-man. Everything else was... disappointing. Esp when you consider that I had to buy some as back-issues with inflated prices.
So the idea of comic books as an investment is a laughable joke. At the expense of the buyers. Esp when you consider 20 years of inflation.

These are modern trades. Didn't pick up as an investment just to read. Kept those I like and just looking to make back some of the money I spent (to buy more).

I may just donate to the military.

Thanks.

Not sure off hand but I'm pretty sure I've seen something about it in Knights of the Dinner Table magazine; just need to do some research.

With such low returns via selling on Ebay and other venues, these days I don't bother anymore with selling old stuff which has very little to no resale value.

I usually just give away old stuff I have no use for anymore, to local friends, relatives, etc ... If they don't want it, I just donate it to the local libray or thrift stores (ie. Goodwill, etc ...).

Awhile ago I gave my old comic book collection to a nephew. (Even all the expensive Uncanny X-Men issues from the late 1970's).

Excellent advice! A gift to the next generation is the best value one can get out of much of the deluge of so called 'collectible' items.
