Scarmiglione's form blurs and shifts as the first two motes miss him, and he ends up in a different place. Unfortunately, he falls unconscious again as he continues to be shot.

[sblock=teleports and death save]Scarm gets 2 teleports owing to being missed twice. I'll have him go unconscious again in D11 (I was actually intending to pour a healing potion into Toeto if I stayed up last round).

His dropped dagger and staff stay in G8.

Stalking the Prey, Round 7

The motes focus on Kaz, having little effect individually, but slowly wearing down Kaz collectively.

One rakes at Fredrock's shield while the other appears out of nowhere and sinks its claws into the dwarf's back, pulling him down to the ground and attempting to force Fredrock to meet its gaze unsuccessfully.

Content that Fredrcock has things under control...

GM: You'll notice that Kaz's "bloodied" was gray, meaning an effect that ends next turn :).

I fixed Fredrock's hp (added 2).

Fredrock stands, takes a deep breath, his armor glowing slightly, and his wounds seem to be not as deep as they were. He then swings at the nearby stalker with all his might, watching it disappear as it falls, hopefully for the last time.

BTW: Sorry I missed that last round. I forgot how quickly they go when half the party is unconscious ;).

OOC: From my own point of view, the potion for Eithal would make more sense since she has no SW to spend, but from the group's point of view, it might be better to help Scarm. He's got one of the few area attacks that can get the motes.

OOC: Kaz only has 1 potion of healing (and one regeneration potion), does anyone have any others?

Reguardless I would like to help Eithal this round, since she is almost dead

OOC: Just waiting for Eithal's turn then?
OOC: I was waiting for Kaz to get retconned. Is it decided then that Eithal will be getting the potion? If so, does Eithal need to spend a minor action to drink it (being unconscious and all). If not...
"Ooooooooh! So yew thowt ole Eithal was daiyed didjew?" The warden rises to her feet, "Nawt yayet!" She bounds down the rocks to the fell creatures theatening Fredrock, but all she does is manage to push them around and anger them.

OOC: Is it a standard action to use a potion on someone? Regardless I can use one on Eithal.

By the way, I think you'll need to pick up your weapon (minor right?) :)

Edit:
Eithal spends a healing surge and gets 10 HP from the potion.

OOC: OK. Forget WT then. Eithal will spend the minor to grab her axe.

Stalking the Prey, Round 8

The motes seem fixated on Kaz, nearly bringing the avenger down through sheer numbers. He staggers under the draining flashes of tendrils of purple energy that lash out from the misty orbs, the life force they draw causing them to bulge like obscene spectral leaches.

After Fredrock caves in one of the stalker's heads he turns away, only to have its head reform and it struggles to claw and bite at his legs.

Eithal successfully draws the attention of the other one and its skin shimmers. Eithal thinks she sees movement to the left, but it slashes her with its claws as it reappears elsewhere, the force of the blow sending Eithal flying.

The reanimated body of Yishim paws at Fredrock and the walking corpse of Salgyn appears out of the mist, slamming into the dwarf.

GM: Why do I always forget dwarven racial abilities? Fredrock shouldn't have gone prone (rolled 14 on his save retroactively) so he gets a bonus move action next round.

It takes a minor action for Eithal to pick up her weapon, so ignore the slide on RRY.

Fredrock may choose whether or not to resist RRS's push. If it is resisted, he is still in L9.
