Just saw the first one this week... and I loved it! I will miss the second one in theaters but I will see it soon

The second one looks like it will be even better than the first and they both would have been better if all one movie as originally envisioned.

I just hope theres a a few small things that were missing for me in the first, like say dialogue or story.

I mean given QT's past with some groovy wordsmithing, Kill Bill v1 was disappointing. And I know its a genre picture, an action flick and all that, but I still think it boils down to the fact that someone decided to release 2 movies instead of one, and we got a rather weak story tied together by a bloodfest in the first one.

But enough of my rant. I hope 2 is good.

Agreed. That's why I haven't seen part 1 yet and I won't be seeing part 2 in the theaters. I'll wait until the 2-disc set comes out and buy that.

From the new trailer, looks like volume 2 will go into the characte's past more, they show the Bride in training, the attack at the wedding, ect., should fill in a bunch of questions.
