Blackguard and Paladin of Tyranny

Both the Paladin of Tyranny and the Blackguard have the Aura of Despair ability. Unlike the Wis to AC ability that appears on monk, swordsage, and ninja, this penalty is untyped. If I multiclass between the 2, do both instances of Aura of Despair stack?

Also, do Paladin of Tyrrany levels count for Blackguard extra abilities?

Why would two instances of the same ability stack?

In most cases, modifiers to a given check or roll stack (combine for a cumulative effect) if they come from different sources and have different types (or no type at all), but do not stack if they have the same type or come from the same source (such as the same spell cast twice in succession).

TBH I think the Variant evil paladins were meant more of a replacement for the Blackguard.

Yes, that seems about right, I was just experimenting with a cohort that works as a save reducer for my spells. I've already got Improved Bind Vestige for Focalar (-2 to saves 5ft out) and Paladin of Tyranny for another -2 10ft out.
