"Yes, I saw two bodies that had to be thrown from one of the cars ahead." says Tam, and follows Rio.

Mardigan watches and goes to the front of the car near the door leading to the engine room and keeps watch...just in case.

Seeing Mardigan watching someone else Kenn goes back to watching the prisoners...especially the dwarf.
"Whatever he was paying you for, it wasn't enough.."

"Oh, thank you." says the half-elven man. "You should check up by the engine, two men just took off with my signet ring after they saw their boss drop. I assume that's you I have to thank for that? Is everyone else ok?"

The man looks a bit roughed up, and his fine clothes are torn in places, but he looks otherwise unharmed, and aside of a lack of jewelry, would be be dressed appropriately for a noble. He stretches and rubs his wrist and face where he was bound and gagged.

Mardigan's eyes widen at this thought and he immediately opens the door and heads to the engine room. He shouts as he leaves " They may be trying to stop the train. As a member of House Orien I cannot allow that to happen. They will rue the day they tried to mess with a House Orien operation" He draws his flail and goes for the engine room door.

Kenn checks the dwarf for weapons, tools, and identification, then encourages him to be tied up politely.
"You'll be just as secure unconscious, old chap, but I might accidentally kill you and spoil our budding relationship."

Khoros follows Mardigan, and quickly finds he could outpace him easily. Khoros forces himself to slow down, and stays on the alert.
