Bracers of the Hunter

Hi folks,

I am a little confused about the Bracers of the Hunter from the Secret's of Xen'Drik.
There is written:

This extra damage is granted only once, even if the wearer is making both a sneak attack and a sudden strike.

So what does this mean?
After the first part I thought that this extra damage applies only to the first attack, even if the character has multiple attacks.

But after the second part I do not know what the description wants to tell me? Do sneak attack and sudden strike? Huh?

Let's say you're an invisible multiclassed ninja/rogue.

You attack someone. Since you're invisible, your attack is a sudden strike; also since you're invisible, your attack is a sneak attack.

You deal your +Xd6 sudden strike damage, and your +Yd6 sneak attack damage, and you also trigger the Bracers and deal that extra damage as well.

The note is telling you that you can't say "I'm sneak attacking, so the Bracers deal extra damage, and I'm also sudden striking, so the Bracers deal extra damage for that as well!"
