as RA said, waking up requires a listen check at dc 10. No alrm is raised, so the rest will keep listening at the vague noise with a -10 penalty until you hear it for now.
Mordik draws his weapon and awakens Eanos. While doing so, makes eye contact with a very large animal moving through the shrubs toward the camp.
What are Odno's intended actions?
The rest can throw initiative as well.

Eanos is slightly disoriented as he wakes. He recognizes Mordik's voice in the dark, though. Knowing he needs to see to fight properly, he reaches to his haversack and pulls out sunrod Quarion offered him back at the castle. He holds off striking and activating it for a moment.

"What danger, Mordik? Do I need light?" he whispers.

[sblock=OOC]Eanos is clearly a little slow to wake: initiative 10[/sblock]

Ok folks initiative order is:
Mordik 22
Aletheia 14
Quarion 11
Eanos 10
Foe 5
Odno 4

The creature reacts with a loud grunt to Mordik's whispers and suddenly the shrubs seem to explode as a gigantic Boar charges from the bushes and goes straight for the dwarf.
It gores the dwarf for an awesome 20 points of damage.

Odno's up

Odno pales when he watches what the thing can do; had the boar charged him instead of Mordik, he's sure that he'd be dead by now. Not knowing what to do, he turns to Quarion and shakes him up. "There's a large animal attacking!" he whispers.

[sblock]ooc: Being in melee, my chances of hitting the thing even with a touch attack are slim, and I don't want to do splash damage to Mordik right now. Waking Quarion seems to be the best option.[/sblock]

The battle will almost surely wake Quarion, but lacking other options, it never hurts to make sure.

RA: It's not that big an issue, just remeber it next time.
If it where a confirmed crit vs some bbeg in some final battle which knocks him ko in one strike.. then maybe you'd have to reroll...

[sblock=OOC]What's the lighting situation? I don't know that we decided to have a cold camp, so can we assume enough firelight to see by?[/sblock]

Next round...
Quarion's head snaps up at the sound of the angry boar. Odno hastily explains the situation, and Quarion nods, affirming his understanding. He calls to his companions, "Stand down, do not agitate him!" Leaning forward onto his hands and knees, the elf locks eyes with the boar. The elf grunts loudly, in a voice completely foreign to his fair elven throat, and paws the ground softly. With a snort and a strange whistle through his nose, the elf attempts to charm the boar.

[sblock=OOC: ]A move action to go from sitting to crawling, and a standard action to cast charm animal. The will save DC is 15. If the others attack the boar, it gets a +5 to its save.

Quarion's Handle Animal skill is +9.[/sblock]
