Break of Dawn [Manzanita judging] COMPLETED

ooc: determing wheter an item is magical is an epic use of appraise. Otherwise it is used to determine the value of "common or very well-known objects". Concidering the state of the corpses and the other equipment you are pretty shure that this armor is either very specially treated or indeed magic.

ooc: Odno will exchange his leather armor for the one we've just found and pocket one of the CMW potions, unless any of you have different plans (I'm updating the charsheet). Then I think it's time to hit the road once more.

ooc: So Odno takes the leather and a CMW. Where do the rest of the potions go?
Aletheia can cast detect magic on the armor, but i think that's best kept until you guys rest and get new spells.

ooc: Treasure division is one of things that delay pbps the most. I'll step ahead and try this tentative division and see if everyone agrees:

Odno is using (until we determine what does it do) the leather armor and takes a CMW potion.
Aletheia takes the Blur potion, just in case she needs some extra protection.
Eanos takes the Bear's endurance potion.
Quarion takes the Endure elements potion.
Mordik takes the second CMW potion.

ooc: indeed it is. I'll continue anyway. Any changes to the proposed division can be posted while you are on your way. I assume that you are donw in these ruines now and continue down the road.

You continue your way through the forest, following the old road.
After about an hour traveling you find yourself at a clearing in the forest. In the center of the clearing is a large stone structure, heavily worn by the teeth of time.
Surrounding the structure is a chasm of unbelievable depth.
As you look down into the chasm its jagged edges spell nothing less of certain death to any unlucky soul who falls into its endles depths.
A construction that reminds of of a rope bridge spans the chasm. It doesn't seem like its worn ropes could even hold thier own weight.

"This must surely be the place. Did anyone bring rope?" Quarion has spider climb prepared, so he could probably get across alright. Or go exploring.

Mordik digs around in his pack at the question and brings out two coils of 50' hemp rope.
Aye. Hun'rd feet or so.. I figgur we can throw a grapple across, climb, and have a few on this side holding the second rope tied around the climbers waist.. The drop'd hurt but not as much as if ya wasn't being held. Mordik chuckles dryly at the last comment.

[ooc: mordik has a +6 modifier on his use rope]
