Break of Dawn [Manzanita judging] COMPLETED

Eanos, human monk

Mordik puts the dagger aside and replies, I'll push with ye. If we push it on this side hard enough it should open, barring magic stronger than our backs.

Eanos nods, moving to the end of the altar Mordik indicates. "Anyone who wants to lend a shoulder, feel free," he says as he sets himself to push with Mordik and whomever else joins in.

Mordik puts a shoulder to the block right beside Eanos and plants his feet, readying himself to push. On three... One! Two! Three! Mordik pushes(21).

ooc: sorry folks, i got swamped a bit.
Mordik abd Eanos put thier shoulders against the stone and start pushing.
The block, however, does not seem to react even the slightest bit to thier efforts.

Quarion looks grimly at the altar, knowing that his turn to attempt opening it is near. He takes a step outside, to see if any animals are flitting about nearby.

Quarion sees no creatures in the direct vacinity of the altar. He did see soem creatures on the way to here but he'd have to cross the bridge again to find any.

Quarion turns around announcing, "No animals are to be found this side of the chasm. Shall I go to the other side and return with living fare, or do we have another option?"

"I can't really think of anything else at the moment. We might as well give it a try," Aletheia suggests.

Rubbing his shoulder and wincing a bit, Eanos looks around.

"Are we sure we'd need a living animal? What about a recently-deceased one? There are several troublesome ravens strewn about, after all."
