"Yes, they could be... Do you think they can transfer healing? If so, it would surely be best for Aletheia to wear one, and... Eanos, the other. We can test the healing tomorrow." The next day, Quarion will damage himself some, and then have Aletheia cast a cure spell on herself while wearing one of the rings, to ensure that healing is transferred.

OOC: I actually just meant that, since Aletheia could take on damage at a distance, and never has a reach issue in healing herself, that effectively gives Eanos a "heal at a distance" once a day. I didn't actually expect that it would transfer the heal spell through the link (though I certainly wouldn't object. ;) ).

OOC: Ah, that makes more sense then. I figured I had just missed something, but you're right, that would work. (Well, as long as the blow didn't knock Aletheia unconscious.)

"In any case, I'm glad we extricated ourselves from that temple - I felt we were arguing in circles, though the feeling of indetermination in our objectives and goals hasn't ended, and that's a situation I abhorr." says Odno. "Not being able to see what's beyond makes me very uncomfortable. In any case, I wish we were already at Graven's state."

Mordik continues on silently, adding nothing. He tends to stick near Eanos, as per previous marching orders, but speaks very little if at all. A little past the halfway mark he finally speaks up, So who's gonna talk up Graven n' figure out what he's got and how we're gonna get it? Or we attackin at the sight o'em?

"I have some skill with talking to people, but those who may consort with devils make me quite uneasy. There is great evil in this world, and it has nothing but malice for the forces of good. I fear my life would be in danger without substantial backup."

Eanos nods. "Of course, we'll all be there, and we have the rings as a safety net should our employer act more quickly than we expect."

(OOC: Aletheia has +9 Diplomacy because of the Knowledge Domain helping out with stuff. It would be more if Clerics could max Bluff or Sense Motive (always wondered why they don't have Sense Motive. She's no Lasair or Rinaldo (the two best smooth-talkers in LEW that I know of), but she's a legitimate go-to-girl for this sort of thing).
