Eanos, human monk

Mordik shrugs, Evil or good.. - just gotta be wary when they're trying to sell ya somethin. Especially somethin you need...for so cheap...hmm.

Mordik takes a quick glance at the room and thinks, He musta wanted us in here to offer the opening so cheaply... 50g is nothing for an adventuring party...

Mordik nods at Eanos, Well, let's go through one of these doors... Mordik looks at both doors, shrugs and heads to open the left. He looks at the party with an unspoken question: Ready?

Eanos readies his sling, then nods his readiness.

Mordik cautiously opens the door.
The heavy stone door slightly objects but with a firm push it swings open.
Behind it you see a square room, about 20 feet to each side, with a five feet wide round clearing in the middle. The clearing is filled with dirt and a small shrveled bush stands in it.
Otherwise the room seems empty.

Quarion simply nods. If there's hesitation about which door to enter first, he gestures towards the left door.

After the door is opened...

"A foe?" Quarion muses aloud.

(KN: Nature +8 to determine if the bush is more than just a bush.)

Mordik shrugs at the seemingly empty room. He'll draw his silvered blade, but for now will pay more attention to the wall he assumes to be shared with whatever is behind the fresco.

"I already mentioned that I've rarely left Orussus, But that looks like a bush to me. My knowledge of the natural things, however, reaches far enough to know that plants do not grow in the abscence of sunlight; either this bush has some peculiar characteristics, or someone really wanted to have here a bush, for whatever reason." announces Odno.

Eanos raises an eyebrow at the odd sight and looks to their resident expert on all things natural, waiting to see if Quarion expresses any insights. The monk does, however, seem slightly embarrassed to be standing around waiting for word on the relative safety of shrubbery, though he says nothing.

Mordik nods to himself after not noticing any movement in the room. He walks into it and quickly checks the right wall and closest corner. After a moment he looks back at the party at the door and then the bush, Er..It's a bush, I dunna think it's gonna attack us?

OOC: roll anything needed. not taking 10/20 on this.

You examine the bush, which appears to be a blueberry bush.
As you touch one of it's withered twigs while you examine it, a soft voice whipers in a strange tongue:
[sblock=druidic language]
"The gifts of nature sustain all who breathe. In return she asks little but respect. Nourish the soil and Nourish yourselves."
[/sblock]

"It is just a normal blueberry bush, I am quite sure," Aletheia observes.

"We're lucky we have a Druid along if they've left us a message only in their secret language," Aletheia ponders, "Quarion, was it a clue?"

(OOC: Darn, a 26 and it was just a blueberry bush. Ah well :])
