At Aletheia's comments Mordik looks around the room, noticing all the chains on the ceiling. With his weapon in hand he will move to be closer to Eanos. Followin yer lead, Eanos. he says, eyes darting from the chains to the figure.

Quarion looks at the steel tip of his arrows and frowns. He casts his shortbow to the ground and approaches, drawing his quarterstaff. As he moves, he prays to Verdante to bless his staff with the strength of the tree from which it came. The staff twists in his hands, becomes harder and slightly thicker, and Quarion grips it tightly.

"Let it come, then," he says, with grim determination.

OOC: Drop shortbow, move 30' while drawing quarterstaff, and cast shillelagh.

(OOC: I have pretty much bollocks as far as Initiative, so I assume the enemy goes before she does. I don't want to post an action until I see what the enemy does, but tell me if I'm wrong and I'll post an action immediately (probably casting Bless) )
