The stats that need help are Strength and Intelligence. Str is completely overshadowed by Dex for combat, and Intelligence just doesnt do very much. Both Str and Int are kind of useless as saves as well.
STR saves basically vanished now that they made monsters automatically inflict knocked down on hit...
Entangle is the big spell it helps with, the others are Arms of Hadar and Evard, I guess.

Str tends to get more ac so a bit more protection against knock down in hit?
Full plate's 1 AC over the others isn't going to feel meaningful when your big warrior is on their back all the time.

I’m not as sure that’s true anymore about str vs dex.
STR weapons have weapon mastery variety, which is very nice to have in your back pocket.
I wish there was a mechanized way to model BG3 jumping being a big deal.

I think that was done just so casters can feel confident there will always be that one weak save, so they can end an encounter once they try enough spells.
There were already weak saves under Fort/Reflex/Will.

Basically ALL saves for monsters are weak. Like seriously, they're trained in nothing and their stats are garbage. At best they have one respectable save, which is usually glaringly obvious.
