8pm est on the 14th A&E is doing a Biography episode on the show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. From the TV Guide online:
The making of the TV series, a cult favorite, is recalled by creator Joss Whedon, who wanted Buffy “to be an icon, not just a TV show.”
“I'd rather have a show that a hundred people need to see than a thousand people like to see,” explains Whedon, who also wrote the 1992 film that inspired the series. “I want Buffy to live in people's imagination.” Actually, it will live there and in syndication after May 20, when the spooky comedy-drama that debuted in 1997 and spawned an Angel spinoff airs its final episode. The hour includes clips of favorite moments, such as those from the musical episode, season finales and Buffy's romance with Angel. Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Boreanaz are also interviewed.
